MUSICIAN
Maahirii is loved for her voice and innovative renditions and collaborations across the music platforms of the country with lots of regular listeners. Hailing from a family of Hindustani Classical Musicians for the past four generations, it is quite natural that music flows in Maahirii’s blood. She has gained acclaim as a versatile vocalist in the music industry of India and Bangladesh. FILM MAKER
Maahirii started out with her passion for photography and finally took up filmmaking in 2013. She started with short films and then moved on to music videos, musical shorts and finally feature films. Her first short film “Doya Kore” was an official selection in the Kolkata International Children’s Film Festival…
ACADEMICIAN
PhD in Applied Psychology from the University of Calcutta and a first class first Gold Medalist in Post Graduation (University of Calcutta), has been into lectureship from 2010. She is a regular faculty of psychology in the National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (NILD) in Post Post-Graduate Department of Disability Management and Departments of Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy and Prosthetics and Orthotics.
